Summer Annuals
Annuals are a great way to add instant summer color to any landscape. They are most often purchased in bloom and provide a bright cheery addition to your garden. Annuals are easy to use, inexpensive, and don’t make you feel guilty if you decide you don’t like a certain color or flower. Extensive planning is not needed. Each fall they die off and you get to try something new next summer. You can easily place them in spaces in between your shrubs and in any bare spots in your garden. Just provide the proper amounts of sun or shade, well-drained soil, and adequate water from rain or irrigation.
